Role Description The Experienced Associate Lawyer will provide legal counsel and representation in one or more of the firm’s practice areas, handling a mix of advisory and litigation-focused matters.

Day-to-day responsibilities may include drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents, conducting legal research, preparing pleadings and motions, managing case files, and participating in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings as needed.

The role involves regular communication with clients, collaborating with other attorneys and legal staff, and contributing to strategic case planning to protect and advance clients’ interests.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (New Jersey or New York strongly preferred), with several years of experience in one or more of the firm’s core practice areas (e.g., litigation, business, personal injury, family law, criminal law, bankruptcy, tax/estate planning, or labor and employment).
• Strong legal research and writing skills, including the ability to draft clear and well-supported memoranda, pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Proven experience in case management and advocacy, including client counseling, negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and, where applicable, courtroom practice.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying risks, proposing practical solutions, and anticipating legal issues to protect client interests.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters in a remote, contract-based environment.
