Scan-to-CAD Reverse Engineering Draughtsman (SolidWorks)

In need of draughtsman who is genuinely strong at scan-to-CAD reverse engineering in SolidWorks. You'll take millimetre-accurate 3D scans of real, often decades-old automotive parts and rebuild them as clean, idealised, fully parametric models ready for industrial 3D printing, fairing out warp and damage to deliver the part as it was designed, not mesh-tracing 45 years of wear.

Core skills: expert SolidWorks surfacing (loft, boundary, fill), disciplined sourced dimensioning, and validating against the scan before sign-off. We start with a small paid trial section, then move to ongoing pipeline work for the right person.
