Network & Security Engineer (Level 2/3)

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Network & Security Engineer (Level 2/Level 3) to join a fast-growing technology services provider where you will work with cutting-edge security tools, solve complex challenges and grow alongside a collaborative team that values continuous learning and innovation.

Whilst the role is based in Malaysia you will be supporting the Australian market and therefore will align with their timezone. In this role, you will be the go-to person for complex technical issues, supporting junior engineers and ensuring smooth incident management. Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of supporting tickets and incident management, troubleshooting issues end-to-end and keeping customers updated. · Be the go-to escalation point for junior engineers by guiding, mentoring and solving any complex issues. · Collaborate closely with senior engineers not only learning directly from experts but also sharing your own insights to the team.

What we are looking for

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage clearly with customers and stakeholders. · Strong technical background in network and security support (Level 2/Level 3 level). · Flexibility to work on a rotating shift schedule as part of a 24/7 support team and be remunerated for that. · Solid problem-solving skills and the maturity to take ownership of tasks. · Experience with firewall technologies (Fortinet experience would be highly valued).
