Onsite Project Coordinator

We are seeking an On-Site Project Coordinator based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will serve as the primary bridge between our engineering team and clients, ensuring smooth project delivery, clear communication, and timely issue resolution.This is not a hands-on coding role — you will focus on client communication, project coordination, and light technical operations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Client Communication

Act as the on-site representative for day-to-day communication with client stakeholders on project progress, requirements clarification, issue tracking, and system integration

Facilitate requirement gathering sessions, translate client needs into clear documentation for the engineering team Coordinate UAT, deployment schedules, and change management processes

Provide timely feedback and status updates to both clients and internal teams

Business Development Support

Identify and follow up on new business opportunities arising from existing engagements

Assist in preparing proposals, solution presentations, and client demos

Build and maintain strong client relationships to support long-term partnership

Technical Liaison

Perform basic server operations (SSH, log checking, service restart) and Docker container management when needed

Coordinate system integration and data exchange activities

Understand and communicate technical concepts (APIs, data flows, system architecture) without necessarily writing code

AI-Enabled Working

Leverage AI tools and AI Agent workflows to enhance personal productivity

Understand AI Agent concepts to effectively communicate solution value to clients

Requirements

Must Have

Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written)

Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills

Proactive, self-driven, fast learner with strong ownership mentality

Basic understanding of software engineering (SDLC, version control, deployment, testing)

Comfortable with command-line operations and Docker fundamentals

Willingness to be based on-site in Kuala Lumpur

Nice to Have

Experience in banking, financial services, or regulatory compliance domain

Prior experience as project coordinator, BA, or technical PM in software projects

Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or hands-on experience with AI-powered tools

Cross-cultural communication experience

Bahasa Malay proficiency

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
