Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file legal documents related to conveyancing, property transactions, and banking law.
• Assist lawyers in drafting contracts, agreements, and correspondence for clients and financial institutions.
• Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and securely stored.
• Coordinate with clients, banks, and government agencies to facilitate smooth property transfers and financial transactions.
• Schedule and manage appointments, court dates, and deadlines for legal proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and compile relevant information to support case preparations.
• Handle billing, invoicing, and expense tracking for legal services rendered.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Legal Studies, Secretarial Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably in conveyancing or banking law.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal software.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Familiarity with Malaysian property law, Land Office procedures, and banking regulations is a plus.
