Role Description The C&S Draftsperson is a full-time, on-site role based in Subang Jaya. This role involves preparing detailed civil and structural drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and reinforcement details, in accordance with engineers’ designs and local standards.

The draftsperson will update and revise drawings based on design changes, coordinate drawing information with other disciplines, and ensure proper file organization and documentation. Daily tasks include working closely with engineers to clarify design intent, checking drawings for accuracy and completeness, and supporting submission packages to authorities and clients.

The role may also involve assisting with basic quantity take-offs, maintaining drawing templates and standards, and contributing to continuous improvement of drafting workflows.

Qualifications

• Ability to use C&S drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar) and produce clear, accurate technical drawings.
• Understanding of civil and structural drafting practices, including reinforcement detailing and basic construction methods.
• Attention to detail and strong skills in checking, coordinating, and revising drawings to meet project and regulatory requirements.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, project team members, and other stakeholders.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple drawing sets, track revisions, and meet project deadlines.
• Relevant certificate or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Drafting, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and authority submission requirements is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to office drafting standards, and take part in ongoing professional development.
