Conduct thorough risk assessments for commercial clients to determine insurance coverage and premiums.

Analyze and evaluate complex data to make informed underwriting decisions.

Ensure compliance with company underwriting policies and procedures.

Review and interpret insurance regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance.

Collaborate with brokers and agents to develop and maintain strong business relationships.

Utilize underwriting tools and technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Analyze market trends and competitor information to make recommendations for pricing and coverage adjustments.

Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide underwriting recommendations and solutions.

Monitor and manage underwriting portfolio to ensure profitability and risk management goals are met.

Continuously develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Identify and report potential fraudulent activities.

Provide excellent customer service to clients and business partners.

Mentor and train junior underwriters as needed.

Collaborate with other departments such as claims and finance to ensure seamless operations.

Participate in meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
