Are you looking for an operations leadership role that enhances your technical expertise in a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment? If so, this Plant Maintenance and Utility Manager role could be an exciting opportunity to explore.

As a Plant Maintenance and Utility Manager, you will lead Preventive Maintenance, Calibration, Engineering cGMP Compliances, Statutory compliances etc. This includes manufacturing, packing and laboratory equipments, utilities and facilities, EHS critical equipments etc.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

• Manage the team of Engineers and Technicians and support to achieve the site KPIs including but not limited to Productivity & OEE, EHS, Quality etc.

• Preventive/Predictive/Corrective Maintenance of Pharmaceutical Machineries which includes manufacturing and packing equipments.

• Equipment and Instrument Calibration activities to ensure it always remains in good functional condition.

• Machineries include (but not limited to) such as High-Speed Blister Packing lines, Bottle Packing, Tablet Press, Capsule Machine, Dry and wet granulations, powder mixers etc.

• It Includes Pharmaceutical Black and Clean Utilities such as Purified Water System, HVAC System, Compressed air System, Chillers, Boilers etc.

• Ensure that Machines remain in standard operating condition through continuous focus and execution of planned preventive maintenance and autonomous maintenance.

• Maintain critical spare parts and consumables for smooth operation of equipments.

• Take necessary actions to minimize the downtime and support to achieve OEE and Productivity targets.

• Liase with original equipment manufacturers for necessary maintenance requirements.

• Plan and execute the equipment qualification activities covering User requirement specification (URS), Design Qualification (DQ), Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), Performance Qualification (PQ) etc.

• Support Site Automation Initiatives.

• Ensure compliance to standard operating procedures.

• Training to team members to enhance their knowledge and skill levels.

• Prepare and review necessary cGMP documents.

• Provide compliance to cGMP and EHS requirements.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation and Automation/Electrical/Mechanical or any Equivalent

Around 10 years of working experience in Pharmaceutical- OSD facility/FMCG industry in Engineering and Maintenance department

Experience managing Maintenance Engineers and Technicians, Calibration Technicians

Preferred Qualifications

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

Proven team leadership and project management experience

Hands on and leading Experience in the design, programming, and troubleshooting of process control instrumentation, various field instruments, industrial automation etc.

Experience of handling various regulatory inspections.

Well versed with pharmaceutical guideline USFDA, EMA, PICs, ISO 14644, EU Annexure-1, ISO 8573, 21CFR-Part 11, Computerized System Validation (CSV) etc.
