Junior/ Senior, Software PHP Developer (Yii Framework, MVC, j. Query)

This is an on-site position in Pudu, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will be responsible for core architecture, memory management, data storage, preventing system vulnerabilities, and whatever else needs to be done to build and deliver excellent applications and services used by other Company employees and our customers.

You will work closely with stakeholders, fellow engineers, designers and software testers, presenting and communicating your work across the organization and to other teams at the Company. You are expected to propose and implement overarching system architecture and design robust solutions to hard problems that consider scale, security, reliability and cost.

Part of the role is to design and create test data and/or environments to support test activities, execute testing and validate actual results against expected results, and verify results of quality assurance tests. You will prepare references for users by writing operating instructions, document and share best practices with engineers across the Company, and respond promptly and professionally to bug reports.

Education and credentials are explicit: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

Technical skills and experience we expect include expertise in PHP, Java. Script, HTML5, CSS, My. SQL, No. SQL, and strong knowledge in Yii Framework, MVC, j. Query and responsive web development. You should have good practical experience developing websites, portals and web-based applications in any modern scripting language that are scalable, and knowledge of secure and standard coding practices.

Knowledge in Linux servers & mobile application development is an added advantage.
