As a Security Operation Engineer II, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our operations, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks. Monitor and analyze security systems, including intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and SIEM, to identify potential security breaches and respond accordingly.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain security protocols and procedures to protect company systems and networks.

Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate solutions.

Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to constantly improve and optimize security processes.

Investigate and respond to security incidents, including conducting forensics analysis, performing root cause analysis, and recommending corrective actions.

Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident response plans.

Conduct training and awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices and ensure compliance with security policies.

Participate in security incident response drills and exercises to prepare for potential cyber attacks.

Work closely with external security vendors and consultants to assess and enhance security measures.

Provide technical guidance and support to junior security team members.

Communicate security risks, issues, and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.

Collaborate with other teams to integrate security controls into new and existing systems and technologies.

Participate in on-call rotations to respond to urgent security incidents outside of regular business hours.

Maintain and troubleshoot security systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.

Continuously evaluate and improve security processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
