Director: Warehouse Operations - Operating Company

Job Context

To lead and align the CLDC the implementation and execution of the strategy and operating model, enabling a high-performance culture, client satisfaction, reduced risk and compliance to regulatory and legislative requirements.

Key Performance Areas

• Formulate and develop functional / operational framework that positively contribute to the achievement of organisational objectives.
• Implement and manage workforce planning, recruitment, learning and development, performance management, reward and recognition and employee relations to ensure an optimal working environment.
• Create an engaging, enabling and productive work climate aligned to the employee value proposition by demonstrating leadership through personal commitment to organisational values.
• Align strategies and objectives for a function / operation according to knowledge gained from reports and analysis.
• Formulate governance and compliance models and frameworks for a function / operation in order to identify and manage risk liabilities.
• Formulate functional / operational budget to ensure that the strategic deliverables are adequately budgeted for.
• Establish and maintain a network of sustainable stakeholder relationships.
• Formulate integrated service delivery frameworks to ensure exceptional stakeholder service.

Qualifications Required

• Post-graduate diploma or professional registration
• NQF Level 08

Experience and Skills Required

• Up to 10 years of experience in a similar environment, with at least 8 years business leadership / specialist experience
• Advanced business and operations management
• Advanced people management and development
• Advanced transport operations management
• Proficient labour relations procedures
• Advanced budgeting and cost management
