Bartender

What you'll do

• Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately, following established menu recipes and measurements.
• Craft premium coffee and espresso-based drinks — grinding, brewing, steaming, and texturing milk to exact brand standards — alongside teas and specialty beverages.
• Conduct daily opening and closing stock counts, replenish inventory, and prepare garnishes and ingredients.
• Verify customer age identification and adhere strictly to health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
• Take orders, process POS transactions, handle cash, and balance the till accurately.
• Keep the bar area, glassware, and utensils clean, stocked, and well-organised at all times.

What you'll bring

• Grade 12.
• 1–3 years of proven bartending or mixology experience.
• Hospitality/bartending certification and familiarity with Hospitality Management Systems (Pilot) advantageous.
• An engaging personality, excellent communication skills, and a flair for making recommendations.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills to thrive in a high-volume environment.
• Physical stamina for long shifts, including standing and lifting.
• An exceptionally high level of attention to detail.
