Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer

On behalf of our esteemed client, we are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineering Manager to lead a dynamic engineering team in a high-performance industrial environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a solid track record in electrical and instrumentation engineering within industrial or manufacturing settings.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the E&I engineering team to deliver high-quality design, development, and testing of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Oversee the project lifecycle from concept through to commissioning, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards.
• Provide technical expertise in OEM equipment design, integration, and fabrication.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, process, and project engineering departments.
• Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Implement and uphold engineering best practices, standards, and quality control measures.
• Support project management activities including resource planning, budgeting, and scheduling.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (BEng/BTech preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering within an industrial environment.
• Proven leadership experience in a senior engineering role.
• In-depth knowledge of OEM equipment design and fabrication.
• Solid understanding of project management principles and practices.
• Strong proficiency in designing, developing, and testing electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Advantageous

• Project Management Certification (PMP/Prince2 or similar).
• Experience in managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
• Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
