Join our team as a Senior Commissioning Manager and lead the critical transition from construction completion to operational readiness. Bring your technical expertise, leadership skills, and commissioning excellence to projects that shape industries and communities worldwide. This position is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, is a full-time site position and must be willing to work a 6/2 rotation.

Key responsibilities

• • Develop and implement the overall commissioning strategy and execution plan.
• Establish commissioning objectives, milestones, and project KPIs.
• Lead the commissioning team through all commissioning phases (C1-C5)
• Ensure alignment between engineering, construction, operations, and commissioning teams.
• Act as the primary commissioning interface with the client, contractors and vendors.
• Direct cold and hot commissioning activities. This will include plant areas such as:
• Crushing circuits
• Milling circuits
• Flotation circuits
• Thickening systems
• Reagent systems
• Dewatering systems
• Tailings systems
• Water supply and reclaim systems
• Utilities and infrastructure
• Ensure commissioning procedures are executed safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate startup sequencing and integrated system testing.
• Coordinate the project handover to operations

Stakeholder Management

• • Manage interfaces with:
• Project Management team
• Construction team
• Client operations team
• Vendors and OEMS

Technical Competencies

• • Commissioning Management Systems

• Cold Commissioning

• Ramp-Up Planning

Experience

• • Minimum 15–20 years experience in mining, minerals processing, or large industrial projects.
• Minimum 10 years commissioning management experience.
• Demonstrated experience commissioning large concentrator plants
• Proven copper concentrator experience
• Preferred experience with EPCM project execution models.
