Position Summary The OSS Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing OSS infrastructure across Linux-based environments.

This role requires hands‐on expertise in server administration, automation, reporting, and troubleshooting connectivity issues across the network.

You will work within a fast‐paced operational team to ensure OSS systems function reliably, securely, and efficiently.

Detailed Job Description In this position, you will operate and maintain OSS platforms, perform regular system health checks, manage network element lifecycle activities, and handle patching and backup routines.

You will develop automated reports using Python and build dashboards in Power BI to support operational insights.

The role involves diagnosing OSS and network connectivity issues, working with containerized environments like Docker/Kubernetes, and ensuring high availability of OSS systems.

This role is ideal for engineers with strong Linux/Unix skills and a passion for automation and reporting in telecom environments.

Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain OSS platforms and manage NE lifecycle activities Perform Linux server health checks, patching, and backup management Develop automated scripts and reporting solutions using Python Build dashboards and visual reports in Power BI (or Tableau) Troubleshoot network connectivity and OSS‐related issues Support containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes) Maintain accurate documentation and ensure operational best practices Required Qualifications & Skills Strong experience in Linux/Unix administration Practical knowledge of MySQL database operations Hands‐on experience with Python scripting Proficiency with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes environments Understanding of OSS platforms and telecom operational workflows ✨ Nice-to-Have Skills Experience supporting multi‐vendor OSS stacks Knowledge of network management protocols (SNMP, NETCONF) Automation experience in CI/CD environments Exposure to telecom NOC or operations centers Recruitment Pro Tip Highlight any OSS automation you've built—whether Python scripts, custom health checks, or Power BI dashboards.
