Role Description

The Tender Manager leads the end-to-end tender and bid process at Shoni Tech, from opportunity identification through to submission and post-submission follow-up. The role ensures that every proposal is compliant, competitive, well-written, and submitted on time, while coordinating the technical, commercial, and legal inputs needed to win profitable business.

Qualifications

• Strong Tender Management and Tender Preparation skills, with experience handling end-to-end tender processes.
• Knowledge of Procurement practices, including vendor management, compliance requirements, and sourcing procedures.
• Sales-related skills, including proposal development, client relationship management, and negotiation capabilities.
• Project Management skills to coordinate multiple tender activities, manage deadlines, and ensure effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to analyze tender specifications, interpret contractual terms, and develop strategic, compliant responses.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 - 5+ years' experience in tender/bid management, preferably within the energy, infrastructure, construction, or EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) sector.
• Proven ability to independently prepare and own tender pricing, cost estimates, and pricing schedules.
• Proven track record of managing and winning competitive tenders.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, including public sector and government tendering.
• Familiarity with e-procurement and tender platforms.
