Junior & Senior Maintanance Technician

Introduction

We are inviting suitably qualified internal candidates to apply for the position of Junior & Senior Maintenance Technician within our Security Technology Division. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of security technology systems while ensuring exceptional service delivery and compliance with company standards.

Minimum Experience Required

• Grade 12
• 3 – 5 years’ experience within the security technology industry.
• PSIRA registration & Valid driver’s licence.
• Experience with IP-based security systems and network configurations.
• Certifications in security systems such as Gallagher, Arteco, Hikvision, Dahua, or similar.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Gallagher Access Control Certification is essential

Key Resposibilities

• Installing and configuring CCTV, alarm, access control, and other security systems.
• Conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on security technology equipment.
• Diagnosing and resolving technical faults, including wiring, sensors, surveillance systems, and related equipment.
• Assisting with system upgrades and enhancements to improve performance and reliability.
• Performing onsite technical repairs and ensuring effective service delivery.
• Testing and calibrating security systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Maintaining accurate records of installations, repairs, maintenance activities, and service reports.
• Providing professional customer service and technical support to clients.
• Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety standards, company policies, and operational procedures.
• Taking responsibility for company vehicles, tools, and equipment allocated for daily duties.
• Monitoring, recording, and completing daily tasks as required by the business.
• CCTV Systems, Access Control Systems, Perimeter Protection Solutions, Gate Motors, Alarm Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems and Electrical /Electronic Security Principles
