Junior Administrator - Financial Services

Introduction

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a Junior Administrator to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be organised, detail-oriented and proactive, with strong administrative skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain client files for new business and review processes.
• Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate and compliant with company requirements.
• Prepare and finalise client files within the required 48-hour turnaround time.
• Maintain accurate registers, trackers and filing systems.
• Assist with quotations, comparisons and Medprac administration.
• Follow up on outstanding documentation and client requirements.
• Provide administrative support to Brokers, Compliance and Administration teams.
• Identify and escalate any gaps, outstanding requirements or delays promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure client records are accurate and up to date.
• Assist with reporting and administrative tracking as required.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• 2–3 years' administrative experience.
• Previous experience within financial services, insurance or investments will be advantageous.
• Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Strong communication and follow-up abilities.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict turnaround times.
• Reliable, accountable and proactive approach to work.
• Knowledge of FAIS, FICA and POPIA will be advantageous.
• Strong reporting and administrative skills.

Package & Remuneration

R10 000 - R12 000 per month
