Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full financial function, ensuring strong reporting, control, and compliance.
• Oversee project accounting, ensuring accurate cost allocation, tracking, and profitability analysis.
• Manage and optimise stock and inventory processes within a manufacturing environment.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support operational and project decision-making.
• Strengthen internal controls and governance frameworks (SOX exposure advantageous).
• Partner closely with operational, engineering, and project teams.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.

Qualifications & Experience

• CA(SA) or CIMA (essential).
• Minimum 5+ years’ post-qualification experience.
• Strong experience within industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or project-based environments.
• Proven track record in project accounting and inventory/stock management.
• Exposure to SOX or similar compliance frameworks (advantageous).
• Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
