About the Opportunity

A well-established and growing organisation based in Century City, Cape Town, is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with 1–2 years of post-articles experience to join their finance team.

This role offers excellent exposure to financial reporting, business partnering, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic finance initiatives within a fast-paced and professional environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts.
• Assist with financial reporting and statutory compliance.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Analyse financial performance and provide insights to management.
• Manage and improve internal controls and financial processes.
• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Support various finance projects and process improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Qualified CA(SA).
• 1–2 years post-articles experience.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience in commercial finance environments will be advantageous.
