The role

We are currently supporting a large South African client as they investigate structural truths within their expansive operations. This Data Analytics Internship exists to help translate raw operational data into clear, written insights that inform executive decision-making.

Working as part of our fully remote team, you will help identify patterns in organizational behavior and financial reporting, ensuring our recommendations are grounded in reality rather than assumptions. This role is essential for turning abstract business problems into concrete, data-driven pathways for our partners.

What you will do

• Clean and organize large datasets provided by our South African client to ensure accuracy in our final consulting reports.
• Assist in constructing basic models that illustrate how changes in decision rights might affect operational efficiency and cost centers.
• Draft detailed summaries of findings that explain complex business systems in plain, professional language.
• Verify the integrity of internal client databases to prevent errors in our performance analysis and restructuring plans.
• Create visual representations of resource allocation to help executive teams identify where friction occurs.
• Support the senior consulting team by performing specific queries into departmental performance metrics and reporting structures.
• Maintain thorough documentation that tracks how various data points are collected and processed during the engagement.
