Based in CAPE TOWN, this SOFTWARE ENGINEERING TEAM LEAD role offers a salary of R1.3m – R1.5m.

THE ROLE

As a SOFTWARE ENGINEERING TEAM LEAD, you will build, lead and develop a high-performing team of Software Engineers. REQUIRED SKILLS

A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar.

A strong background in software engineering (ideally Java, but C# just as good) within modern software development environments.

Previous experience leading and developing a software engineering team, even a small one.

Experience conducting performance reviews, coaching engineers and supporting career development.

Experience recruiting, interviewing and building technical teams.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Experience working with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS and modern cloud-native development practices will be highly advantageous, but not essential.
