Duties & Responsibilities

Our client is an early-stage, venture-backed technology startup building an AI-powered platform that transforms live customer conversations into actionable sales intelligence. By combining real-time transcription, contextual guidance, dynamic playbooks, and instant knowledge retrieval, their platform empowers sales teams to perform at their best during every customer interaction.

Led by experienced founders with deep expertise in distributed systems, AI, and enterprise SaaS, the company is growing its engineering team as it prepares to scale its product and expand its customer base.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Mid-Senior Full-Stack Engineer who enjoys owning features from concept through deployment. You'll work across the full technology stack, building modern user interfaces, scalable backend services, and cloud-native infrastructure that powers a real-time AI application.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications using TypeScript
• Build responsive, real-time user interfaces with React
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs
• Build and maintain cloud-native infrastructure on AWS
• Work with Docker and containerised services
• Contribute to architecture decisions focused on scalability, reliability and performance
• Collaborate through Git-based workflows including pull requests, code reviews and CI/CD
• Debug, optimise and improve real-time systems
• Work effectively within a fully remote, asynchronous engineering team

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Strong commercial experience with TypeScript
• Solid React development experience
• Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM or similar)
• Comfortable working in Linux environments
• Practical Docker experience
• Experience using GitHub or similar Git workflows
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Previous experience working remotely
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

Desirable Skills

• Experience building APIs with Express.js
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures
• Knowledge of HTTP, WebSockets and streaming technologies
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases

Nice to Have

• Experience with LangChain or other LLM orchestration frameworks
• Familiarity with Auth0 or modern authentication platforms
• Experience with shadcn/ui
• Previous work on AI, real-time platforms or SaaS products
