The role

This is a front-office dealmaking role. You'll work directly alongside senior professionals on live corporate finance mandates — supporting capital raises across Africa and Europe and interacting regularly with institutional investors, lenders and corporate clients.

What you'll do

• Analyse companies, infrastructure projects and investment opportunities across multiple sectors
• Build and review financial models, valuations and transaction structures (DCF, project finance, LBO)
• Prepare investment memoranda, teasers and investor presentations
• Execute debt and equity capital-raising mandates from inception to financial close
• Conduct commercial, financial and market due diligence
• Engage with institutional investors, banks, private credit funds and strategic investors
• Participate in management meetings, investor presentations and transaction negotiations
• Manage live transaction processes, data rooms and investor communications
• Support business development and help identify new transaction opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Science, Economics, Commerce or a related discipline

Advantageous

• CA(SA), CFA Charterholder or CFA 3 Candidate
• Exposure to African and/or European capital markets
• Experience raising debt or equity capital
• Experience building integrated financial models, DCFs, project finance or LBO models
