Creative Designer — Automation & Generative AI

We’re hiring a Creative Designer, someone equally at home crafting a beautiful layout in Figma and building the automated pipeline that turns it into five hundred on-brand variants. You’ll sit at the intersection of design craft, creative automation, and generative AI, helping us produce more creative, faster, without sacrificing quality.

This is not a “designer who has tried ChatGPT” role. We’re looking for someone who has genuinely rebuilt the way they work: designing scalable template systems, wiring up automation workflows, and directing generative AI tools with the taste and judgement to know what ships and what doesn’t. Experience in Figma, ComfyUI, Figma Weave etc. is a must.

What You’ll Do

• Design campaign and brand assets across digital channels, display, social, video-adjacent formats.
• Build scalable design systems and master templates (Figma components, variables, and auto layout) engineered for automated variant production at scale.
• Set up and run creative automation workflows — dynamic templating and feed-based asset generation using tools such as Figma APIs/plugins and other MCP tooling available within our stack.
• Direct generative AI tools (e.g. Veo3, NannoBannana) to produce production-quality imagery, and composite outputs into cohesive, on-brand designs.
• Develop and maintain prompt libraries, style references, and standardised workflows so AI outputs stay consistent across campaigns and markets.
• Design with a responsive best practice allowing the infrastructure to Automate repetitive production tasks, resizing, versioning, localisation swaps, style application, and document the workflows so others can use them to form part of our standardised flows and setups within the capability.
• Champion best practice for AI and automation adoption across the creative team.
• Uphold brand and craft standards: every asset that leaves the pipeline should look designed, not generated. There is a fine line, and you have the experience to guide it.

What You’ll Bring

• 4+ years in creative/graphic or Generative design, with a portfolio showing strong craft fundamentals like typography, production design or layout, colour, and brand systems.
• Expert-level Figma: components, variables, auto layout, and template architecture built for scale, plus working knowledge of its plugin/API ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience combining design with automation, you can point to a workflow you built that measurably cut production time or scaled output.
• Practical, current generative AI experience: image and video generation tools, prompt engineering, and compositing AI output into finished work.
• The judgement to know when AI accelerates the work and when it degrades it.
• A systems mindset: you see one asset and think about the hundred variations behind it.

Nice to Have

• Scripting or low-code automation skills (JavaScript for Figma plugins, html or similar).
• Experience training or fine-tuning models: LoRAs, style references, custom workflows (e.g. ComfyUI).
• Motion design or video editing experience is a plus
• Experience in an agency or multi-market environment
