Flight Attendant (Cape Town)

FlySafair has vacancies for Flight Attendants based at Cape Town International Airport. Successful applicants will report to the Cabin Services Manager.

As a Flight Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive passenger experience by adhering to strict safety policies and procedures. Your duties will include efficiently managing all flight activities while maintaining a high level of integrity and administrative compliance.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, applicants must have a Grade 12 or equivalent education. Additionally, must possess a current and valid SACAA Cabin Crew License, along with Avmed DD50 Medical Certificate, Dangerous Goods Certificate, Ditching Certificate, and Fire Fighting Certificate.

Applicants must also have a valid South African driver's license and their own vehicle, as well as a Level 4 English language proficiency. Furthermore, candidates must be medically fit, able to swim, and willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays, including early morning and late evening sign-ons and sign-offs.

In addition to the above qualifications, applicants must also possess the following personal attributes: Attentiveness, compassion, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a customer-service orientation, exceptional diplomacy, unquestionable integrity, a high commitment to safety, the ability to operate under stressful conditions, professionalism in behavior and conduct, a well-groomed and immaculate appearance (100% adherence to company uniform and grooming regulations), no visible tattoos, and immaculate timekeeping.
