Finance Systems & Consolidation Specialist

Duties

• Manage and enhance the Group financial consolidation and reporting environment.
• Maintain consolidation structures, metadata, business rules, reporting outputs, and period-end processes.
• Strengthen finance data governance and ensure the integrity of financial master data.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives across the finance reporting function.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve reporting efficiency.
• Partner with Finance, IT, Reporting, and external vendors to deliver technology-enabled solutions.
• Support system enhancements, integrations, testing, access controls, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure reporting platforms remain stable, secure, and audit-ready during critical reporting cycles.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade
• 12. BCom in Accounting or a related field.
• BCom Honours / CTA CA(SA) Experience: Completed SAICA Articles. 4-5+ years' experience in financial reporting, group consolidation, finance systems, or finance transformation.
• Practical experience with enterprise consolidation systems such as Oracle HFM or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of: Group consolidations IFRS reporting Intercompany eliminations Foreign currency translation Financial data governance Experience working across Finance and IT environments.
• Exposure to finance transformation, automation, systems integration, analytics, or cloud finance technologies will be advantageous.
• Experience within Financial Services or Insurance is highly beneficial.
