POSITION INFO

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee daily plant operations, drive production efficiencies, and lead a high-performing team. You'll be responsible for achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, reducing waste, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with food safety and health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities Lead and motivate production teams to achieve daily production targets. Ensure product quality while maximising throughput and minimising waste. Monitor production performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO, GMP, and health and safety standards. Coordinate production processes and support effective plant operations.

Coach, develop, and manage team performance to achieve operational excellence. Requirements Matric with Mathematics and Science or N3. National Certificate in Food Processing. Diploma in Production Management. Leadership or Management training. Previous Team Leader or Supervisory experience within a food or fruit processing environment.

Sound knowledge of food processing, production operations, quality systems, HACCP, ISO, and GMP. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
