Senior Recruitment Consultant (Permanent)

Introduction

The Senior Consultant role sits within the Client Solutions function and is responsible for the end-to-end management of assigned deals once they have been handed over from sales and been distributed by the CS Team Lead or CS Manager. This is an internal role

The Senior Consultant role is responsible for converting confirmed deals. This role assumes 270-degree ownership of the deal lifecycle within Client Solutions.

Acting as the deal point of contact from detailed scoping, developing a clear understanding of client requirements, managing sourcing and the shortlisting process through to shortlist presentation, client engagement, and the handover of successful deals to Operations.

The Senior Consultant ensures high-quality, and a responsive client experience throughout the lifecycle of each deal. In this role, the Senior Consultant is accountable for presenting well-curated shortlists, addressing client queries related to talent and recommendations, and, where required, walking clients through shortlisted profiles to support informed decision-making.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, attention to detail, and consistent delivery against agreed quality and turnaround expectations.

The Senior Consultant plays a critical role in ensuring deals are delivered efficiently, professionally, and in line with Client Solutions standards, contributing directly to client satisfaction and successful outcomes

Duties & Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include

1.Deal and Client Management

•Act as the primary point of contact for assigned deals once distributed by the CS Team Lead or CS Manager

•Build and maintain a strong understanding of client requirements, deal objectives, and success criteria

•Manage client communication throughout the deal lifecycle, ensuring responsiveness, clarity, and professionalism

2.Deal Scoping and Delivery

•Scope deals thoroughly with clients to ensure accurate understanding of skills, experience, timelines and expectation

•Translate deal requirements into clear sourcing strategies and talent profiles

•Manage the deal from scoping through to successful fulfilment and handover

3.Shortlisting and Presentation

•Source, assess, and curate high-quality talent shortlists aligned to client needs

•Present shortlists to client in line with CS standards

•Walk client through shortlisted profiles where required, providing context and recommendations

•Respond to client questions and feedback relating to talent, shortlists and role fit.

4.Quality, Timelines and Standards

•Ensure delivery commitments are met, with a focus on quality, accuracy, and turnaround time

•Maintain high standards in talent evaluation, shortlist presentation, and client communication

•Track progress of active deals and proactively manage risks or delays

5.Handover and Collaboration

•Coordinate the handover of successfully filled deals to the Operations team to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery

•Work closely with Sales, CS Team Leads, CS Managers, and Operations to ensure smooth internal alignment

•Provide feedback and insights to CS leadership to support continuous improvement within Client Solutions

Desired Experience & Qualification

• 270 or 360 degree recruitment experience (over 4 years)
• Obtained or working towards an undergraduate qualification
• Strong written and spoken English language
