The Role

General Manager The purpose of this operational, office-based role is to manage the daily operations of short-term rental platforms and coordinate property maintenance and cleaning. Reporting directly to the business owner, the General Manager will navigate platform systems, handle critical guest communications, and oversee the frontline supervisor team to ensure seamless property operations.

This position offers immediate registration as an intern real estate agent, future training to become a fully qualified agent, and potential share options.

Key Responsibilities

• Navigate backend reservation systems and short-term rental platforms including Airbnb, Booking.com, and Expedia.
• Respond quickly to critical guest communications, platform inquiries, and client issues, including handling after-hours availability when necessary.
• Conduct daily staff meetings with approximately five supervisors to coordinate cleaning schedules, maintenance tasks, and housekeepers.
• Create property listings, update descriptions, upload images, and manipulate pricing and listing content.
• Provide active management and sales support for properties currently on the market.
• Manage social media marketing campaigns and Google AdWords for the business.
• Complete required administrative tasks and provide operational notes to the team.

About You

Experience in the hospitality industry with strong interpersonal skills for guest relations and complaint management. Technical competency to work through a PC using email, spreadsheets, and the backend systems of booking apps. Highly organized mindset with the ability to coordinate schedules, arrival/departure logistics, and daily team tasks. Ability to work with minimal daily supervision from the Woodstock office.

Ability to manage after-hours client issues, make detailed notes, and bring them to the team. Interest in entering the property market and training to become a qualified real estate agent. Marketing skills to manage online campaigns and platform content.
