HR SENIOR OFFICER

About the role

As an HR Manager at GENITRONIC (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s human capital strategy. Based in Sungai Petani, Kedah, this full-time position involves leading the HR function and contributing to the achievement of overall business objectives.

We are seeking an HR Manager, and Chinese-speaking candidates are preferred as the role requires frequent communication and collaboration with the China team.

Recruitment Management

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for technicians, engineers, office staff, and other positions.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation confirmation, promotions, disciplinary actions, and resignations.

Compliance Management

• Ensure compliance with employment laws, tax regulations, and confidential information management.
• Liaise with government authorities and handle official matters when required.
• Process work permits and visas, including PVP, EP, and other employment passes.

Payroll & Performance Management

• Manage employee attendance and overtime records, and coordinate payroll processing.
• Conduct PDA/performance appraisals and support promotion and salary increment processes.

Administrative Management

• Oversee daily administrative operations, including business travel arrangements, office supplies, company vehicles, and company events/holiday activities.

Training & Development

• Lead overall employee training and development initiatives, including new employee orientation and professional skills training.
• Establish, improve, and maintain the company’s training system and programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of HR and recruitment experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 1 year of team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Familiar with employment compliance management and experienced in dealing with government authorities.
• Experience in using, developing, or optimizing HR IT systems is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and learn quickly.
• Proven project management experience.
• Proficient in both Chinese and English (written and spoken).
• Willing to be based in Sungai Petani.
