HR Recruitment Specialist – Hospitality & Maintenance

Salary: Up to KYD 72,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and highly organized HR Recruitment Specialist to manage the end-to-end recruitment process, with a primary focus on hiring hospitality operational staff and maintenance/engineering personnel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating the recruitment of high-quality candidates across a range of operational and technical positions. This is a fast-paced, hands-on recruitment role requiring strong sourcing skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple vacancies and hiring priorities simultaneously.

The role will work closely with department managers and operational leaders to understand workforce requirements and ensure vacancies are filled efficiently with suitable and reliable candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from vacancy identification through to offer and onboarding.
• Partner with department managers to understand staffing requirements, job profiles, and recruitment priorities.
• Recruit primarily for hospitality operational roles and maintenance/engineering positions.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, recruitment platforms, employee referrals, networking, direct sourcing, and other relevant channels.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future vacancies.
• Screen CVs and applications and conduct initial telephone, video, or face-to-face interviews.
• Assess candidates based on relevant experience, technical skills, qualifications, availability, and suitability for the role.
• Coordinate interviews between shortlisted candidates and hiring managers.
• Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Conduct reference checks and coordinate relevant pre-employment screening and documentation.
• Coordinate employment offers and ensure successful candidates are progressed efficiently through the hiring process.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and keep applicant tracking systems and vacancy reports up to date.
• Manage multiple vacancies simultaneously and prioritize recruitment activity based on business needs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, hospitality schools, technical schools, colleges, and other talent sources.
• Support recruitment campaigns, job fairs, and other talent acquisition initiatives as required.
• Identify new and creative sourcing strategies to attract hospitality and skilled maintenance talent.
• Provide regular recruitment updates to management and hiring managers.
• Continuously review and improve recruitment processes and sourcing strategies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in recruitment role or HR role with recruitment focus - ideally within the retail or hospitality industry.
• Proven experience managing high-volume recruitment.
• Experience recruiting skilled trades, maintenance, engineering, or technical personnel is highly desirable.
• Ability to identify technical competencies, relevant experience, and cultural fit.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with strong time management and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open vacancies in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using job boards, recruitment platforms, social media, and applicant tracking systems.
