Medical Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator

Key Dermatology is currently seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our exceptional team. As the first point of contact for our patients, we require individuals who are dedicated, enthusiastic, and friendly. Previous experience as a medical receptionist and familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems are essential.

Situated in a brand-new, stunning building, our dermatology private practice is expanding rapidly.

The responsibilities of the Front Desk Receptionist include greeting patients, verifying insurance benefits, scheduling appointments, processing referrals, answering phones, collecting payments (including copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket expenses), maintaining check-in paperwork and medical records, and other duties necessary for ensuring smooth check-in and checkout operations.

Qualifications

• Medical administrative support experience
• Patient service skills
• Office experience, including front desk duties
• Processing billing and payments, using medical software
• Knowledge of EHR systems is a plus
• Familiarity with medical terminology and medical records
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to handle multi-line phone systems
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining information confidentiality at all times
