As a Caregiver at Mercy Works Louisville, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our senior clients. Located in Louisville, KY, this position involves providing compassionate support and assistance to seniors in their homes, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and attention.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and assistance with daily living activities for seniors.
• Monitor patients' health and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Assist with mobility, personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
• Ensure a safe and clean living environment for clients.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with family members.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is required.
• Strong understanding of dementia care and memory care techniques.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and families.
• Ability to develop individualized care plans based on client needs.
