Binding Underwriter

Underwriter, Binding — Specialty MGA Remote (Quarterly Travel Required) | ~$75,000 base + bonus

We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing MGA and specialty wholesale broker building out their Binding Authority Division. This is a high-volume, growth-focused underwriting role with real career advancement opportunity at a company that invests in its people.

The Role

• Evaluate, quote, and bind new and renewal commercial business within delegated authority
• Manage a high-volume submission pipeline across property, GL, excess, and inland marine
• Average account size around $15K, property up to $5M TIV
• Exercise independent underwriting judgment on risk selection, pricing, and coverage structure
• Build and maintain broker and agency relationships to drive consistent submission flow

What You Bring

• 2 to 3 years of underwriting or commercial insurance experience
• Hands-on experience with property, GL, and/or excess/umbrella lines
• Comfortable working within binding authority
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage a fast-paced pipeline
• Bachelor's degree required
