About the Opportunity

We're partnering with a leading organisation undergoing a significant enterprise transformation and are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join a high-profile integration programme.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong architect who enjoys remaining close to the technology, taking ownership of solution design and working collaboratively with engineering teams to deliver complex, enterprise-scale solutions.

You'll be responsible for defining end-to-end architecture across a critical integration landscape, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure and aligned with both business objectives and long-term technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end solution architecture across a large-scale integration programme.
• Design robust, scalable and secure solutions spanning enterprise applications, APIs and distributed systems.
• Produce and own High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs) and supporting architectural documentation.
• Partner closely with engineering, delivery and product teams to translate architecture into practical, implementable solutions.
• Define technical approaches across both cloud and on-premise environments.
• Provide architectural leadership throughout the full project lifecycle, from discovery and design through to implementation.
• Promote best practices in modern integration, including event-driven architecture, microservices and API-led design.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements and business objectives.
• Skills & Experience
• We're looking for an experienced Solution Architect with a proven track record of delivering complex enterprise integration solutions.
• You'll ideally bring:
• Extensive experience working as a Solution Architect within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in enterprise integration architecture and solution design.
• Hands-on experience with messaging technologies such as IBM MQ, Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and Event-Driven Design.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, distributed systems and integration platforms.
• Experience working across hybrid environments, including both cloud and on-premise technologies.A practical, delivery-focused approach with experience taking architecture from concept through to implementation.
• The ability to influence technical direction and work collaboratively with software engineering and delivery teams.

• Location: Dublin
• Daily Rate: Up to €800 per day
• Contract: Initial contract with a strong likelihood of extension
