Solutions Architect

Solution Architect - Regulatory Reporting Technology South Dublin ( Hybrid 3 days onsite)We are looking for a hands-on Solution Architect to join a Regulatory Reporting Technology team supporting the EMEA region. This role is ideal for a mid-level architect (5-10 years' experience) who enjoys combining solution design with hands-on technical involvement.

Working closely with both business and technology teams, you will drive the architectural vision for the regulatory reporting platform, ensuring the technology roadmap is maintained and aligned with business objectives while delivering scalable, high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the architecture and technical direction of the EMEA Regulatory Reporting platform.
• Develop and maintain the architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory priorities.
• Design end-to-end solutions across multiple technologies and support delivery teams throughout implementation.
• Lead technical design discussions and provide architectural guidance to engineering teams.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable and meet non-functional requirements.
• Perform architecture and design reviews, identify technical risks and promote engineering best practices.
• Build strong relationships with both technical teams and business stakeholders, communicating technical concepts clearly.
• Take a hands-on approach where needed, supporting teams with complex technical challenges.
• Skills & Experience Essential5-10 years' experience in Solution or Technical Architecture within complex enterprise environments.
• Proven experience designing solutions across multiple platforms and technologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfortable working hands-on alongside engineering teams when required.

Technical Skills Experience with

• Oracle & PL/SQLJava & Spring
• Angular
• Big Data technologies (Hadoop)
• Cloud technologies
• Emerging AI technologies
• Data architecture, metadata and data lineage
• Desirable
• Experience with third-party vendor platforms (AXIOM or similar).
• Experience within financial services or other regulated environments.
