Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages with precision and care, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, give accurate change, and balance cash drawers at shift end.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation stations, seating areas, and equipment, adhering to food safety standards.
• Assist with food handling duties when necessary, ensuring proper food safety protocols are followed.
• Manage retail sales transactions smoothly while promoting menu items and upselling when appropriate.
• Support team members during busy periods by managing drink service and beverage preparation swiftly.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and beverage service to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.

Experience

• Previous barista experience or café work is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for coffee culture is essential.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately.
• Food service experience or retail sales background is a plus.
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and beverage preparation techniques will help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
