Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to set a positive tone for their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail and spirits service, ensuring proper presentation and quality standards
• Process sales transactions accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with attention to detail
• Upsell menu items including wines, specialty cocktails, or desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, dietary restrictions, or special requests with professionalism

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service roles such as waiter/waitress, server, or host/hostess within a restaurant or hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and energetic attitude
• Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in order accuracy and timing
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and calculating bills accurately
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards
• Experience in fine dining settings or high-volume restaurants is preferred but not required
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain necessary food handling certifications
