ISS Aerospace
Hardware Systems Engineer
Company: ISS Aerospace
Location: Chieveley, Newbury, UK
Employment Type: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
Annual Leave: 28 days holiday per annum
This role is part of the chain of work to provide the end-to-end capability to manufacture, build, integrate, test, and deliver our UAS — whether as production-ready platforms or bespoke systems within larger R&D and trials programmes.
We are looking for a UAV Hardware Systems Engineer at graduate/early-career level, with a strong interest in systems integration and hands-on work. This role suits someone who enjoys understanding how UAVs operate inside and out, and who can independently figure out how to integrate new hardware by researching, testing, and applying solutions.
The role involves occasional international travel to meet the needs of our diverse customer base and global projects. Candidates must hold a valid passport and be prepared to travel within the UK frequently to support trials, demonstrations, and customer engagements.
Applicants must be able to provide proof of identity, eligibility to work in the UK, and employment or education history for up to three years. Certain projects will require the successful candidate to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance, which involves additional vetting and evidence submission.
You will be part of an innovative and dynamic team committed to pioneering developments in the UAS industry. At ISS Aerospace, your contributions directly influence the future of aerospace technologies. We offer an environment that fosters professional growth, innovation, and collaboration.
