Design Draughtsman

A great opportunity for a Design Draughtsman is now available to join an Oil and Gas company based in Aberdeen. You will be joining a company who are specialists in products such as subsea connectors, subsea penetrators, subsea junction boxes and more. You will play a crucial role within the engineering team, creating detailed design drawings using Solidworks.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and detailed 2D drawings using Solidworks and Vault.
• Develop accurate representations of product components, assemblies and systems.
• Generate technical documentation.
• Ensure all drawings and documentation are compliant with relevant codes and standards.
• Work with Engineers and other stakeholders.
• Participate in design reviews.
• Maintain an organised file management system.
• Prioritise and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience using Solidworks and Vault
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong communicator and teamwork skills.
