With a strong pipeline of major projects across the UK and Europe, this consultancy is entering a new phase of expansion - and now seeks an experienced MEP Estimator to play a key role in its pre-construction and commercial success.

The Role

As an MEP Estimator, you'll support major project bids from early design through to detailed pricing - delivering accurate cost estimates for mechanical, electrical and public health packages on large-scale, technically complex schemes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop MEP estimates and pricing documents across RIBA stages
• Engage with supply chain and internal teams to gather robust cost data
• Lead pricing strategies for industrial, pharma, and data centre projects
• Review and assess drawings, specs and tender documents for value/risk
• Collaborate with project managers, design consultants and clients
• Support pre-construction planning, VE, and commercial risk assessments
• Contribute to bid presentations and tender reviews with senior stakeholders

What They're Looking For

• Proven experience as an Estimator (MEP) with a consultancy, contractor, or specialist background
• Strong portfolio of estimating work on major projects (£20m-£200m+), ideally in data centres, Life Science, or industrial sectors
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical services and systems
• Confident working independently and contributing to tender strategy
• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, Excel)
• Strong communicator, able to engage with technical and non-technical teams
