Security Engineer Role in Data Protection

In this role, you will contribute to ResMed's IT team by designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures across Microsoft 365. Your hands-on experience will be critical in refining data protection strategies, managing collaboration controls, and overseeing compliance posture across platforms. Collaboration with IT, Legal, and Risk teams will be vital to ensure comprehensive data security.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Information Protection and Purview policies
• Fine-tune DLP rules to mitigate unauthorized data sharing
• Validate security measures across collaboration services
• Oversee external access controls for third-party data
• Support audit processes through evidence gathering

Requirements

• 3-5 years in Microsoft 365 security and compliance
• Proven experience in MIP and sensitivity labeling
• Deep knowledge of compliance operations and policies
• Familiarity with NIST and GDPR frameworks
• Preferred certifications: SC-200, SC-900, or similar Utilize your security expertise to drive ResMed's data protection initiatives and ensure compliance.
