On behalf of our client, Brainhunter Systems is seeking a talented System Administrator to join our award-winning SaaS client in a permanent full-time capacity. As the System Administrator, Atlassian Specialist, you will be part of the team that supports our teammates with their systems and application software needs as well as taking on longer tasks and projects.

We provide support both in person and virtually, and across many time zones. Our goal is to ensure the business applications and enterprise systems are effective and reliable tools so that teammates are empowered to deliver on our mission.

What You Will Do

• Specialize in Atlassian configuration, integrations, patching and customization for Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence and support implementation of best practices, data cleanup and data migrations from our legacy instances, able to respond after work hours to incidents or outages related to Atlassian products
• Setup and maintain enterprise systems and business applications, their identity management, configuration, and integrations
• Complete teammate requests using our ticket system, from diagnosing issues and troubleshooting, through to understanding their requirements and delivering a solution
• Collaborate with service desk to resolve issues, as well as provide documentation and administrator training about our systems and applications
• Configure and automate identity and authorizations for new systems using SSO, Okta, Jamf, Intune, scripting and API’s
• Install and test vendor patches, releases, and new modules
• Maintain accurate and current documentation of in our internal knowledge base articles

What You Bring

• Atlassian Certification or equivalent experience (3+ years)
• Post-secondary diploma, certificate or degree in an IT-related discipline or a minimum of five (5) years’ experience
• Industry-recognized certification in hardware/software troubleshooting (A+, Network+, ACMT, ACTC) or in pursuit of same
• Experience using Okta Workflows and Universal Directory
• Experience working in a corporate environment utilizing AD, DNS, SMTP, Firewalls/NAT, WIFI
• Working knowledge of macOS, Windows 10, Windows Server 2012/2016 & Linux (CentOS/RHEL), Jamf and Intune, Endpoint protection
• Experience using Microsoft 365 suite of applications & MS licensing
• Bonus points for: Shell scripting, python, APIs, scripting infrastructure as code
• Able to work independently to complete tasks and work well in a team
• Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills
