Survey Services Manager

The Survey Services Section is responsible for providing surveying services across the Corporation for advancing engineering designs, capital construction, supporting the maintenance of asset data in the GIS and legal survey services for internal stakeholders.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Water Resources, the Survey Services Manager will lead team daily operations; manage staff recruitment, development, performance and occupational health and safety compliance; manage operating and capital budgets; provide expert advice on legal surveying and geomatics matters; oversee survey instrumentation and software management; and ensure compliance with professional and regulatory requirements.

The role also supports corporate asset management goals, participates in the GIS Community of practice and works closely with GIS teams across the corporation.
