On behalf of our Ministry client, Mindwire Systems is lookng to fulfill a 1-year part-time contract for an Enterprise Architect to work on their Pathfinder SSO Project. The Pathfinder Single Sign On Services use RedHat Single Sign On Product aka Keycloak technology. Keycloak is an open-source Identity and Access Management solution aimed at modern applications and services.

It makes it easy to secure applications and services with little to no code.

Note: This is a 1-year part-time contract that is expected to take up to 20 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be local within the Greater Victoria area, however, the role can be completed remotely within Canada.

Qualifications

a) Minimum 5 years’ software architecture and/or software development experience (within the last 10 years) related to the delivery of large, complex, or transformational projects;

b) Minimum 3 years’ experience (within the last 5 years) performing code reviews and data model reviews and analysis;

c) Degree or diploma in computer science or a related field, demonstrated ongoing learning activities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; and

d) providing effective software development and operational practices in DevOps context; and

e) Minimum 3 years’ experience in application design using technologies such as Open ID Connect, RedHat Single Sign On, Node JS and React;

f) addressing changes to shifting requirements based on product owner, Team and user feedback.

h) Advising and mentoring team members

i) Experience developing and integrating user management and security components (authorization, authentication, roles)

j) Excellent written communication skills with demonstrated experience communicating effectively to a broad range of stakeholders.
