The Planet Group is looking for a Brand Marketing Operations Manager to join our well-known retail brand on a roughly 6-month contract! This role is 40 hours per week and will be onsite in NYC.

Brand Marketing Operations Manager Qualifications

• 5+ YOE Marketing Operations experience.
• Experience in brand planning and marketing operations for Basketball in footwear and apparel. This is an operations heavy role.
• Strategic and process minded, supporting upstream planning. Unlock pathways for on-strategy and on-time delivery of all seasonal projects, ensuring the work meets Nike's expectations for timeliness and brand standards.
• Ensure seasonal readiness, leading the full Basketball team through all marketing CODE gates with clear and accurate visibility to campaign readiness and milestone health.
• Experience with Budget Management, Driving resource management, including accountability for the overall sport budget, implementing the processes and tools needed for marketing teams to manage project budgets.
• Highly cross-functional, teamplayer, Create and communicate strategic clarity and operational progress to NA and Global leadership and functional working teams.

Brand Marketing Operations Manager Description

• Drive Seasonal Campaign Readiness: Lead the team through marketing CODE gates and milestones, keeping clear visibility on campaign health while identifying risks for leadership.
• Ensure On-Time Seasonal Execution: Manage end-to-end seasonal project delivery to ensure all marketing work meets brand standards and hits key deadlines.
• Manage Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate alignment across marketplace, functional, and creative teams to ensure integrated planning and minimize creative waste.
• Oversee Workflow & Portfolio Operations: Track campaign workflows and hold teams accountable for providing accurate project inputs in the planning system.
• Manage Budgets & Strategic Reporting: Establish budget accountability, track project spend against the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and partner with leaders to report operational progress.
