Now Hiring: FINANCIAL CONTROLLER | ON-SITE | ROCKINGHAM COUNTY

We're partnering with a growing organization that is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead its accounting and financial operations.

If you're a strategic finance leader who enjoys building processes, developing teams, and partnering with executive leadership, this is an outstanding opportunity to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities of the Controller areas follows but not limited to the below:

• Lead all accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, Payroll, and Fixed Assets
• Oversee month-end and year-end close
• Prepare financial statements and ensure GAAP compliance
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning
• Lead audits and partner with external auditors and financial institutions
• Oversee job costing, contract accounting, and project financial reporting
• Facilitate monthly Cost-to-Complete meetings
• Develop and mentor the accounting team
• Strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS WILL CATCH OUR EYE

✔ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

✔ CPA preferred

✔ 5+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience

✔ Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls

✔ Advanced Excel and accounting software experience

✔ Excellent leadership and communication skills
