The cardiothoracic surgery department seeks a full time NP for coverage in the cardiothoracic intensive care unit (CTICU) and CT Stepdown unit. Rotating 12.5 hour shifts on days, nights and, weekends.
Cardiothoracic Surgery nursing at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital means tackling complex cases by utilizing rare technology to deliver quality centered patient care with a finely tuned collaborative team. Across screening, diagnosis, treatment and care, our nurses drive the sharing of knowledge and best practices that makes life-changing differences for patients.
The Nurse Practitioner for Cardiothoracic Surgery is responsible for planning, evaluating, managing, and delivering patient centered care. You will be a vital member to the Cardiothoracic Surgery team. Your direction and coordination will deeply impact the delivery of quality patient care to our patients.
In addition to providing exemplary health care in the CT-ICU and CT-SD, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
