Leasing Specialist

The Leasing Specialist is responsible for managing the complete lease administration process from lease approval through execution and ongoing documentation management. This role ensures all lease agreements are accurate, compliant, and executed in a timely manner while providing exceptional service to prospective and current residents.

The Leasing Specialist works closely with leasing consultants, property managers, and operations teams to support occupancy goals and maintain accurate lease records.

Key Responsibilities

• :Manage the end-to-end lease execution process, ensuring all lease documents are completed accurately and on schedule
• .Prepare, review, and distribute new leases, renewals, amendments, addenda, and other leasing documents
• .Coordinate electronic lease execution and ensure all required signatures and documentation are obtained before move-in
• .Verify applicant approvals, lease terms, pricing, concessions, and move-in details for accuracy
• .Maintain complete and organized electronic resident files in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• .Serve as the primary point of contact for lease-related questions from prospective residents, current residents, and onsite teams
• .Collaborate with Leasing Consultants, Property Managers, and Regional teams to resolve lease discrepancies or documentation issues
• .Track lease expirations and coordinate renewal documentation and execution
• .Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local housing regulations, Fair Housing requirements, and company policies
• .Audit lease files for completeness and accuracy, correcting deficiencies as needed
• .Enter and maintain accurate lease information within the property management software system
• .Assist with move-in coordination to ensure all required documentation is completed prior to occupancy
• .Generate lease-related reports and provide administrative support to property operations
• .Continuously identify opportunities to improve lease administration processes and workflow efficiencies

Qualification

• s:Associate's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experienc
• e.Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management, lease administration, leasing, or a related administrative rol
• e.Experience with property management software such as Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, MRI, or similar platforms preferre
• d.Strong understanding of residential lease agreements and leasing processe
• s.Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and property management compliance requirement
